This is one of the first King's Days in my experience and this year we celebrated it with the team in the museum! Yes, the museum was open on King’s day, which is not very common for this day. However, I was lucky to spend it in the museum and see all the insides of that celebration. The day started already good, when the first thing we saw in the museum were orange balloons installed right in front of the museum. It was a good sign for all the people that we are open! At 11 o’clock we were already welcoming our first guests for today! You can truly feel the atmosphere of the holiday and excitement everywhere around. People are usually dressed in orange which makes the whole event even more colourful. Everything is orange including flags outside, drinks and even little cakes made by our chef specifically for this day! The museum was quite crowded and since we were really lucky with warm weather, people also had a chance to enjoy it on the terrace afterwards.
